Horror over Dalecarlia or Fritt lopp för de dugliga is a co-production with Falun-based ScenKonstellationen.

Premiere at the old wool factory in Sågmyra in Dalarna, Sweden 24 July 2015.

TICKETS for 24-30 July.

In the heart of Sweden: the historical province Dalarna, among mountains, hill farms and tasselled garters, lies an abandoned wool factory that once flourished and gave the town Sågmyra a place on the map. It was a part of the vision of a strong Sweden where industrial progress and belief in a bright future paved way for a new field of research and the founding of The Swedish State Institute for Racial Biology. Until today it has been withheld form public knowledge that this institute never closed down but continued its activity in the Sågmyra factory where it still conducts experiments in the name of eugenics.

You now have a unique opportunity to buy your way into this secret project called Fritt lopp för de dugliga - Horror over Dalecarlia and help the scientists with examining and restoring the Swedish identity. The project offers a breathtaking look into this science’s undisclosed rooms and gives an exclusive opportunity for self-development.

Bombina Bombast is invited to Falun to work with ScenKonstellationen at the old wool factory in Sågmyra the summer of 2015. With the project Fritt lopp för de dugliga we examine our fears for the unfamiliar, our ideals and urge to categorise, to group and to screen anomalies. In an interactive experience beyond the expected we scrutinise our Swedish cultural heritage and our history of racial biology during a night you won’t forget… for a long time.
